Original oil painting of Desert Calicos. These flowers are native to the Sonoran Desert and the Mojave Desert. I found these exact ones by Indianhead Mountain in Southern California. They are so incredibly small that I almost missed them. I have only ever seen these flowers online or in books so to finally see them in person I was really excited.
